URA could go top of the FUFA Super League today when they host Sports Club Victoria University in Lugazi.

A win for the tax collectors will have them going past current leaders Kira Young who won’t be in action tonight.

URA, who have played a match less than Kira Young, will go to 35 points. Kira Young have 34 points.

As the battle for top spot heightens, there will not be a contest between archrivals KCCA and Express.

The encounter which would have served as KCCA’s last build-up for their CAF Champions League match against Nkana Red Devils has been called off.

The Bright Stars versus Soana fixture also brings together two bitter arch-rivals. The two sides’ rivalry was born in the Big League last year.

Out of their three meets, two have ended in goal-less draws. The third had Soana edging Bright Stars 2-1 in the home team’s first home loss in four and a half years.

“It’s a chance for us to pay back. True, they are five places ahead of us, but when it gets to a match against Bright Stars we give our best,” Bright Stars officials vowed.
