UCA T20 National League

Saturday

Tornado v Rounders (Kyambogo)

ACC v Mwiri (Lugogo)

Tornado swing back in action in the UCA T20 National League when they face the Rounders saturday at Kyambogo.

Tornado proved their ability to survive the loss of Arthur Kyobe when they defeated their former opener and his new side on Sunday. Tornado defeated the Challengers by seven wickets and reduced Kyobe, who was by far the Multiple Industries top division lead scorer last season, to a mere spectator after dismissing him for 13 runs.

Tornado will be favourites against the Rounders, who have nonetheless been on an upward curve in recent seasons.

The Jinja-based team finished fifth last season, two places ahead of the relegation doom that many had predicted for them. In the day’s other game, Africa face Mwiri.
