FRANCIS Olaki has vowed to finish the 2013/2014 season as top scorer regardless of his team Soana FC’s indifferent form.

The striker, who is currently featuring in his ever first FUFA Super League season, completed the first round with a tally of eight goals.

The fast paced striker scored braces against Kiira Young, KCCA FC and BUL FC and one each against Proline and CRO in the first round.

“I have set out to do something for myself if the team can’t make it. I want to score more goals and finish as top scorer,” Olaki said.

“It will happen because we still work as a team and (fellow striker) Peter Ssenyonjo and (midfielders) Siraje Turyamuhebwa, Farouk Osman and Dan Wagaluka are all focused to work with me,” he vowed.

Soana FC will kick-start their second round against 16 time champions SC Villa today and Olaki has said his eye for goal is even sharper.

Meanwhile, table toppers Vipers SC begin their second round campaign with their top scorer Yunus Sentamu leading their attack despite speculation linking him with a move to South Africa.

Vipers secretary Harunah Kyobe has insisted that the player missed the opportunity to join Ajax Cape Town in South Africa before the window closed on January 31.
