A key meeting meant to discuss measures to have the FUFA Super League second round free of nasty incidents flopped.

Six out of 16 league teams sent representatives at the meeting due to have been held at FUFA House in Mengo on Monday.

The meeting was supposed to discuss a way forward following a number of nasty scenes in the first round.

FUFA vice president technical and Super League boss Mujib Kasule had called the meeting.

“We shall kick off the second round without meeting chairmen and secretaries of clubs and the Super League board,” Kasule stated.

“The officials ignored our call to discuss the matters and it is late now.”

In one of the ugly first round incidents, Vipers SC and SC Villa fans fought at Buikwe stadium during a league match

This led to suspension of the ground.
