KCCA Football Club and SCVU have given their Cranes’ players two-day rest from training after Uganda’s failed Africa Nations Championship (CHAN) campaign in South Africa.

Lugogo-based KCCA coach George Nsimbe said his Cranes players save for Ivan Ntege are expected back for training.

Hassan Waswa, Brian Majwega and Henry Kisekka were also in Cranes team at the CHAN tournament in South Africa.

“Ntege had two days to rest because he played all Cranes matches in CHAN,” Nsimbe said.

SCVU had the bulk of players (8) in Cranes’ CHAN squad and coach Morley Byekwaso said that he expects them to resume training this weekend.
