30 judicial officers promoted

THIRTY judicial officers have been promoted to various ranks by the Judicial Service Commission. The promotions are geared towards enhancing and improving service delivery in the administration of justice.

THIRTY judicial officers have been promoted to various ranks by the Judicial Service Commission.


The promotions are geared towards enhancing and improving service delivery in the administration of justice, Araali Kagoro Muhiirwa, the Judiciary’s Assistant Public Relations Officer said in a statement.

The officers promoted to the rank of Deputy Registrars are Harriet Ssali Nalukwago, Fred Kenneth Waninda, Tadeo Asiimwe, Michael Otto Gulamali, Lillian Mwandha, Charles Emuria, Deo Nizeyimana, Irene Akankwasa, Cissy Mudhasi Kawuma and Godfrey Opifeni Anguandia. Julia Acio and Deborah Wanume were promoted to the rank of Assistant Registrar.    

Promoted to the rank of Chief Magistrate include Sarah Siu Langa, Flavia Nabakooza, Samuel Emokor, Godfrey Kaweesa, Beatrice Stella Atingu, Alex Ajiji, Mary Babirye, Rosemary Bareebe, Susan Abinyo, Hellen Ajio and Felix Omalla.

Promoted to the rank of Senior Principal Magistrate Grade One are Francis Dawa Matenga, Monica Amono, Mary Kisaakye Kaitesi, Alex Karocho, Emmy Godfrey Seyekwo and Jolly Nkore Shwanda.  
Michael Lagara was promoted to the rank of Principal Magistrate Grade One.
