GENEVA - Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov arrived in Geneva on Saturday for crucial talks on Iran's nuclear programme, an AFP reporter said.

Lavrov flew into Geneva airport and was to join talks that have already seen the top US, British, French and German diplomats rush to the Swiss city.

Russian news agency Interfax earlier quoted sources saying Lavrov was hoping for a meeting of all the foreign ministers gathered in Geneva once he arrived.
