Who is Sarah Musayimuto?

Sarah Namakula Musayimuto is a musician born in Bunamwaya, Lubaga division Kampala. She is the third born out of the six children. She is born to Mr. Patrick Katende and Mrs. Nassanga of Mukono-Kyaggwe.

What does Musayimuto mean?

'Musayimuto' is a stage name which means New blood. She is a student of Nursing at Sosunord Nordjyland in Denmark.

When did you start singing?

I started singing in 2012 with my first song Ngenze N’ono. Since then I have released a lot of singles which include Natereza, Obulamu Tebulida, Akanaginagi, and many others mostly produced by Producer Crouch.

Any challenge you have encountered in the music industry?

Yes, there is a lot of intrigue in the music industry which is mostly hyped by big stars in the industry. It is so hard for a rising musician to perform on a Ugandan concert than on a foreign show. I find it easy to perform in Denmark, Sweden and Germany than performing on a Ugandan concert. In Uganda if you don't have money, your music can't be pushed to your targeted audience.

Apart from music and studies, what else do you do?

I run a charity foundation called Musayimuto Foundation, which reaches out to women and children who are suffering from diseases like fistula and malnutrition.

Are you into fashion?

Yes, I am an aspiring commercial and fashion model, aiming at bringing a creative change in the fashion industry in Africa and Uganda. I run a fashion house called 'Sarah Fashion Model Outfits' which is found in Denmark, and also planning to open a branch in Uganda.

Which colors do u like

I love colors that describe my personality of art and fashion. I like dark colors like blacks, dark blues, purple and red with splashes of bright spring and summer poppy colors.

How do you promote your music when you don't stay here?

I have a team of managers who promote my music in and outside the country. They book shows where I perform and spread my music to the last consumer.

Are you in relationship?

Yes am madly in love with a Danish man who loves me so much

Why did you choose a Dane and not a Ugandan?

Me and my Danish man we are fitting. He understands me and supports my music too.

What crazy thing has he ever done to you in the name of love?

Oh my God! My man is crazy about me. He is fond of bathing me like a kid and bringing breakfast in bed.

If given chance, which Ugandan artist would do a collabo with?

I can do a song with Julie Mutesasira.

Why Mutesasira?

Her songs bear a message and she has a good voice.         

What pisses you off in a man? 

I hate a man who is a liar and dishonest.

What do u like most on your body?

Mostly I love my eyes; they are the mirror that sees awesomeness on me.

How many men vibe you a day?

Many like 10-20 people mostly when I pass by town.
