We Abubaker Technical Services and General Supplies Limited would like to make a clarifi cation regarding the story that appeared in the media about the Kampala faulty solar lights on a number of roads. We have received a number of calls regarding this issue.
We would like to inform the general public and the citizens of Kampala in particular that Abubaker Technical Services and General Supplies Limited has installed solar lights on the following roads in Kampala;
Kintu Road, UNEB Road, Valley drive, Martyrs Road, Lake Side, Radio Maria, Buvuma road, Kabalega Road, Kisasi Road, Bukoto Road and Wanainchi Road (To-prison). This brand of solar lights is ISO certifi ed and have EU certifi cation. These have been used in Countries like Dubai (UAE), Philippines, Saudi Arabia, Taiwan,
Hongkong, India, China, and Germany.
We are proud to report that our solar street lights are still functioning and some have spent a full year on these roads.
Our solar lights are supplied and installed with a warranty of three years and in turn the manufacturer (Silver Sun Company) also gives a warranty of three years.
