City dwellers look at Kampala Capital City Authority’s Jennifer Musisi as an iron lady, who seems to be more obsessed with her job than anything else. Brian Mayanja had a chat with her about her marriage, love and family

What makes your marriage tick?
Basically, I cut out other responsibilities and remained with looking after my
family and the job. This is why I am always at home every weekend, to take care of my family. On Sunday, after attending church service, I immediately return home.

KCCA is a busy institution, how you balance marriage and work?
Our marriage is God-centred. That is where we draw our strength. We started with God and always go back to him incase of any challenges.

Some people think you are tough. Are you a tough mother and wife?
I live a disciplined-life and I expect people around me to be disciplined. It has helped me to get to where I am.

How many children do you have?
Just know I have children, period.

How do you maintain your weight?
Exercising and avoiding stress is very important.

How do you spend your leisure time?
I spend my leisure time looking after my family, cleaning and decorating my house.

What about watching TV?
I do not have time for TV. There is nothing productive being aired out.
