Nte who last lifted the Bika Shield in 2010 dominated the game aided by their star players like John Bosco Semugenyi, Sam Senkoomi and Jimmy Kakooza.

Mpeewo played in the finals last year where they narrowly lost 2-1 to Ffumbe.

Long serving presidential advisor Kakooza Mutale for the first time was at Nakivubo to give support to the Nte clan who he promised a hefty reward if they win the shield this year.
