Makerere University Joint AIDS Program (MJAP), is a Ugandan Private not-for-profit legal enti ty under the Makerere University School of Medicine (MUSOM), formerly called Makerere University Faculty of Medicine (MUFOM). MJAP emerged from Mulago-Mbarara Teaching Hospitals Joint AIDS Program which was established in 2004 under the Makerere University Faculty of Medicine, with funding from PEPFAR and technical assistance from the US Centres for Disease Control and Preventi on (CDC).
