Rainbow International School Uganda (RISU) have again promised to fly the country’s flag high on the world scene.

A team of 14 RISU students and two coaches leave for Athens, Greece on Tuesday for the May 14-17 Council of British International Schools (COBIS) Secondary Games.

“Expect a very good performance. Last year we trained for only two weeks and did well. We have this time prepared for four months. The team is in perfect shape,” promised coach Robert Egessa.

Georgina Byarugaba, Zara Nalwoga and boys’ captain Nolens Thijs are Uganda’s main medal hopes. Mildred Gamba is the second
coach.

The three are strong contenders for places on Uganda’s national swimming team.
