Archbishop Ntagali installed UCU chancellor

The Archbishop of the Church of Uganda, Rt. Rev. Stanley Ntagali was on Thursday installed new Chancellor of the Uganda Christian University in Mukono District.

The Archbishop of the Church of Uganda, Rt. Rev. Stanley Ntagali was on Thursday installed new chancellor of the Uganda Christian University in Mukono District.


Ntagali was installed by the dean of the Province of the Church of Uganda, the Rt. Rev. Evans Mukasa Kisekka who also doubles as the bishop of Luwero diocese.

Ntagali is the third chancellor of UCU following his predecessors, Henry Luke Orombi and Livingstone Mpalanyi Nkoyoyo.

UCU this year celebrates 100 years since its inception as Bishop Tucker Theological College.  

Ntagali as the new chancellor today (Friday) presides over a graduation ceremony of over 1000 graduands.
