RDCs flagged off for Kyakwanzi retreat

All Resident District Commissioners (RDCs) and their deputies from across the country Thursday begin a ten-day long retreat at National Leadership Institute (NALI), Kyankwanzi.

All Resident District Commissioners (RDCs) and their deputies from across the country Thursday begin a ten-day      long retreat at National Leadership Institute (NALI), Kyankwanzi.


Totalling 172, the RDCs and their deputies were on Wednesday flagged-off at Kololo Airstrip in Kampala by Minister for the Presidency Frank Tumwebaze.

During the retreat, the RDCs will be taken through the on-going government programmes, polices, what is expected of them while in office and how they can help in the improvement of service delivery at the grass root level.

Uganda Police, Finance Ministry, Works Ministry, Health Ministry, Auditor General, Inspectorate of Government are among some of the institutions set to make presentations at the retreat.
