Chamber of commerce in nation-wide campaign

The Uganda National Chamber of Commerce and Industry (UNCCI) have launched a nation-wide business engagement programme codenamed, ‘Business Revolution’.

While addressing the media at her office recently, the UNCCI president, Olive Kigongo, said the platform aims at capturing the concerns and challenges of doing business today.

“We are dedicated to ensuring that our members take advantage of business opportunities locally, regionally and internationally. This drive will enable us to identify problems and solutions affecting the business community,” she said.

Kigongo added that the key activity of the programme is for UNCCI to engage local business leaders to come up with their local area supply and demand inventories that would enable the organisation to promote business networks and local investment partnerships.

She said this is going to give a chance to all local business operators to interface with trade facilitating institutions.
