She is only 18, a Senior Six leaver with dreams of becoming a lawyer. But that will all have to wait a little longer because Anita Kyarimpa from Kabale was declared winner of the 2013 Miss Uganda Western Regional finals held at the Big Fun Centre in Mbarara on Saturday night.

She was the overwhelming favourite to win and received a standing ovation from the crowd that braved the cold Mbarara night.
