Golola v Istavan

TWO days before Moses Golola takes on Hungarian Betya Istavan at Kyadondo grounds, the motor-mouthed kickboxer has looked sharp in his recent sparring fights with Ronald Mugula.

The Ugandan fighter’s coach Quraish Walusimbi told New Vision Sport yesterday that Golola “looks good, looks sharp and looks ready to go; he will win this time.”

During his morning session yesterday, Golola sparred seven rounds, four with Mugula and the rest with three other ‘tough’ fighters at the Hotel Africana gym.

Mugula went down twice and Golola once. Mugula looked more technically gifted while Golola largely relied on his strength throughout the session.

“He has improved with the help of Mugula, let us wait for him in the ring. Victory will be on his side. This is his last shot and he knows it,” Walusimbi added.

Hungarian Istavan arrives tomorrow. In his previous fight, Golola lost to Hungarian Zsamboki Mate.
