Eric Kamanzi and Angella Mbabazi, the parents of Aneela Kamanzi, the one-year old toddler has been admitted at the Paediatrics Acute Care Unit in Mulago Hospital for further checkup.

Aneela was beaten up by her nanny in a footage that circulated on social media last week.

The police had earlier this week said that much as the parents took the baby for medical check up at a private clinic, the baby was to be subjected to further medical examinations at Mulago national referral hospital under the police surgeon, Dr. Moses Byaruhanga.

Three senior paediatric consultants are currently running a series of tests including a full body scan to rule out any internal injuries Aneela might have sustained during the horrific moment.

The doctors include Richard Idro, Edson Mworozi and Hellen Aanyu.
