Razor bumps irritate me

Dear Doctor, I am aged 26. My beard itches and sometimes I develop swellings and blisters, especially when the beard is growing. However much my barbers have tried to use different aftershave products, the condition has not changed.

It is normal to develop razor bumps after shaving. Scientifically called pseudo folliculitis barbae, razor bumps are small, irritated bumps on the skin that develop after shaving because the strands of hair curl back, growing into the skin.
They can cause irritation and pimples, as well as blisters.
The itching is normal, but not the blisters. In such cases, you might have to take antibiotics on the prescription of a doctor.
