Nile Basin Initiative

The Nile Basin Initiative (NBI), with a Secretariat based in Entebbe, Uganda is a partnership of the riparian states of the Nile comprising Burundi, D.R. Congo, Egypt, Ethiopia, Kenya, Rwanda, Sudan, Tanzania and Uganda, with Eritrea participating as an observer.

 

The Nile Basin Initiative (NBI), with a Secretariat based in Entebbe, Uganda is a partnership of the riparian states of the Nile comprising Burundi, D.R. Congo, Egypt, Ethiopia, Kenya, Rwanda, Sudan, Tanzania and Uganda, with Eritrea participating as an observer.

The NBI seeks to realise its vision “ to achieve sustainable socio-economic development through the equitable utilization of, and benefit from, the common Nile Basin water resources”. by implementation a number of projects, including the Institutional Strengthening project (ISP which ended on 31st December 2012.

The Nile Basin Secretariat based in Entebbe, Uganda would like to request Suppliers & Service Providers who currently have outstanding invoices for goods & services supplied to NBI ISP for the period ending 31st December, 2012, to submit them for payment, not later than 13th February 2013.

The outstanding invoices should be submitted with all relevant support documentation, including the LPOs, Delivery Notes to the address below.
