National Motocross team captain Arthur Blick Jr, has vowed to give Maxime Van Pee and Asaf Natan a run for their money when they meet in the Nomi Motocross championship.

Blick was on Thursday at Mukwano Group Company offices where the company committed sh15m to the event due November 16, in Busiika.

“I know this event is going to decide many champions in the different categories but for me I want to assure you that my rivals will feel the heat,” Blick stated.

Meanwhile the event in Busiika will be a two in one as motorsport fans will also have the opportunity to see former rally drivers in the cockpit as they battle the younger drivers.

Emma Katto, Chipper Adams, ‘Roll master’ Wycliff Bukenya and Christakis Fitidis will battle the young generation of Ronald Ssebuguzi, Omar Mayanja, Arthur Blick Jr, Leila Blick and Deshi Kananura in the event that is in memory of the late Paddy Blick Sr.

“We will be marking 10 years in memory of late Paddy Blick Sr. for his contribution to sports and we will have a circuit between former drivers that competed with him and the current generation,” Blick confirmed.

The Late Blick was a former East Africa rally and Motocross Champion.

Blick commended Mukwano Group for the support and urged other companies to emulate them.
