Mulago National Referral Hospital

Mulago National Referral Hospital has allocated funds from Government of Uganda to be used for Acquisition of Consultancy to supervise the construction of 100 flats of staff accommodation (2blocks) 

The Consultant will be expected to:

• Review the existing documentation and make improvements

• Supervise the contractor during construction

• Make payment certificates

• Conduct site meetings on behalf of client

• Give progress reports

• Solve any obstacles to the project as raised by stakeholders

• Liaise with Umeme, KCCA and NEMA

• Commission project and make project completion report 

1. Mulago National Referral Hospital invites sealed bids from eligible and qualified bidders for the Consultancy services (TOR are provided in the Bid)

2. Bidding will be conducted in accordance with the Open Domestic procedures contained in the Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Assets Act, 2003, and as amended 2011 and are open to all bidders. 

3. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information and inspect the bidding documents at the address given below in No. 8(a) from 8:00am to 5:00pm, local time.

4. The Documents in English maybe purchased by interested bidders on the submission of a written application to the address below in No. 8(a) and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of UGX 200,000= (Two hundred Thousand Uganda Shillings Only) for each tender. The method of payment will be through the Bank.

The document will be handpicked from the procurement on presentation of proof of payment.

No liability will be accepted for loss or late delivery. 

5. Bids must be delivered to the address below before 21/2/2013, at 11.00am. All bids must be accompanied by a bid security of Four Million (4m/=) in Uganda shillings or an equivalent amount in a freely convertible currency). Late bids shall be rejected. Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders’ representatives who choose to attend at the Mulago Hospital Boardroom on 21/2/2013, at 11.30am.
