CARLSON Rezidor, one of the largest hotel groups, has entered the Ugandan market.

“We are delighted to arrive in Uganda. Tourism is one of the country’s fastest developing sectors, and Uganda is also becoming an important market for foreign investment due to its rich oil reserves,” said Wolfgang Neumann, the president of Rezidor, at the African Hotel Investment Forum in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.

Bob Kabonero, the chairman of Park Hospitality, the owning company of the hotel, said: “We are thrilled to partner with Carlson Rezidor, whose vast experience and expertise will ensure the successful execution of the first Radisson Blu Hotel in Uganda.”
