KAVC and KCCA women volleyball teams have missed this year’s playoffs paving way for Uganda Christian University and newcomers Vision Volleyball Camp.
KAVC has missed the playoffs for the first time since 2004 after losing their latest encounter to Tigers VC paving away for a fixture between Vision Volleyball Camp and returnees Uganda Christian University in the first playoffs starting next month.
The other women semi-final playoff will be between Nkumba and champions Ndejje University.
In the men’s category, KAVC take on Nkumba in one playoff while champions Nemostars VC face currently highflying former champions Sport-S in best of three games semi-final playoffs.
In Serie C Vision VC is well-placed to be promoted to serie B. Western region, the playoff features Bishop Stout, Citizen and Mbarara VC and Mbarara University of Science and Technology in playoff in their own competitions to get one of them promoted to the winner to Serie A. In Eastern Uganda playoff final Painters take on Terminates.
