Tornado B could claim the 2014 elite national cricket title on Sunday. The reigning UCA National League division 1 champions simply need to beat the Rounders at Entebbe and Charity fail to beat the Challengers at Lugugo.

Tornado B have a 15-point lead on second-placed Charity going into today's fixtures and even though the latter have a game in hand on the champions, only a win will keep their title hopes alive.

The defending champions have more than a firm grip on the 2014 title but until they win it, it is a race. Tornado B captain Jeremy KibuukaMusoke says his charges are not getting carried away.

“Why not? We can still lose the title,” replied KibuukaMusoke when asked whether there was any way his team could blow it.

“This is a game and if we lose our last two games and Charity win all their games, they would win it.”

Needless to add, it's a big if.
