Pupils of Kyaterekera Parents Primary School in Buyaga, Kibaale district Tuesday morning staged a violent strike over what they called poor administration.
The over 300 pupils led by their head boy name withheld stormed the office of the headmaster Paul Asiimwe seeking for an explanation why they have not been taught for close to 3 weeks.
The pupils threw stones smashing window glasses as well as destroying other property accusing the headmaster of neglecting the school.
The school deputy headmaster Enock Matte admitted that the school lacks essential teaching materials a situation he attributes to the absence of the headmaster.
Attempts to get a comment from the headmaster were futile. The Kibaale district education officer John Kyaboona said he was not aware of the fracas.
