All Africa Games 100m champion, Christine Akullo, has appealed for corporate and individual support
to enable her perfect her skills.

Akullo, who won gold in the visually impaired category for the country during the 2011 Games in Maputo, Mozambique, is looking forward to defending her title during the 2015 edition in Brazzaville Congo.

“I have a dream of winning a second gold medal for the country, but I am not able to acquire the necessary kit needed for training,” lamented Akullo.

Akullo, who is currently staying in her village at Morungatuny Sub County in Amuria district, says she needs equipment like shoes, track suit, sweat fisher, sprinter spikes and back bag. Lack of this has forced Akullo to train along her village paths barefoot and without a trainer.
