AN NRM caucus feedback session from MPs' consultations over the Kyankwanzi resolution endorsing President Yoweri Museveni as sole NRM candidate has been deferred over a busy Parliamentary schedule.

Information and National Guidance Minister Rosemary Namayanja told New Vision on Tuesday that the Monday caucus was slated to receive two reports; one on MPs' consultations about the Kyankwanzi and another on national planning.

"The meeting was deferred because Parliament is in a busy period of finalising sessional committee meetings on the national budget for them to report back to the House next week. We don't want to jeopardise committee meetings," she said.

The Kyankwanzi resolution was drafted by caucus members in September last year to endorse President Yoweri Museveni as the sole NRM Presidential Candidate for 2016.

Namayanja said that members meetings were devising means of moving this resolution forward.
