SC Villa has become the first FUFA Super League team to join the Rotary Cancer Run on August 31.

They registered their participation with a sh2m offer for the run. Club president Ben Misagga noted that the run was for a good cause that they would wholly support under their Corporate Social Responsibility programme.

“SC Villa is one of the most supported clubs and under our CSR programme, management decided to partner Rotary Uganda to raise awareness about cancer that has affected all of us in one way or another,” said Misagga.

The Pepsi and Centenary Bank-sponsored Rotary Cancer Run, now in its third year, is organized to raise funds towards the completion of the Rotary Centenary Cancer Ward at St. Raphael of St. Francis Hospital, Nsambya in Kampala.

Registration for the run is going on at Shs10,000 only at Centenary Bank (Mapeera House), Rotary Uganda Office (9th Floor NIC Building), Bridge Credit Finance and all Capital Shoppers supermarket outlets.

New Vision are support partners for the event.
