After upgrading from a two wheel Toyota Collora FX to a Subaru Impreza N6 rookie rally drive Christopher Kasozi believes this gives him a perfect chance to test himself against the big men during the Shell V-Power Pearl of Africa Rally Championship.

trueBuikwe woman Member of Parliament Dorothy Mpiima and HabibOil bought the car for Kasozi that was formerly driven by Dr. Ahmed Asharaf.

“I’m not going to chase the big men because I have to get used to the new car first but when I get the right rhythm I will adjust accordingly. My target is to finish among the top eight,” Kasozi said after receiving the car keys during a brief function at Kololo on Tuesday. He will be navigated by Umar Kakande.

“We expect him to do better than last time since it was his first attempt and he managed a podium finish,” Flora Nassuna the crew’s manager said.

Kasozi will be making his second appearance in a competitive rally event having made his maiden appearance in the Southern Motor Club-Challenge rally event that was held last month where he finished third in the two-wheel category.
