Heathens coach Brian Tabaruka told the New Vision online after a 23-12 win over Pirates in the quarter final that Buffaloes are always a stubborn side that can’t be handled softly.

“I expect a tough game as none of us respect each other, but lucky enough I expect my experienced players back and we will unveil all our lethal strength on them,” Tabaruka stated.

“The Uganda Cup is a trophy we want this year and we shall do everything to win it,” the soft speaking tactician stressed.

At Legends Kampala Rugby Club, Rhinos advanced to the semi-final after a 22-18 defeat of Sadolin Mongers in a bruising tie that stood at 17-6 half time score in favour of the former.

Charles Tomusange, Ricky Kaweesa and James Okello scored tries for Rhinos with new signing from Pirates Kevin Makmot adding a penalty and two conversions for Rhinos while Ronald Adigas had two tries and Adrian Wasswa two penalties and a conversion for Mongers.

The Uganda Cup is sponsored by Nile Special and Rwenzori Water.
