NOVEMBER 19, 1961

A petition expressing lack of confidence in the prime minister of Bunyoro, Z.H. Kwebiha, was sent to the Omukama of Bunyoro by the Omutima gwa Bunyoro party.

It expressed concern at the lack of responsibility shown by the representatives in Bunyoro Rukurato and complaints that people demanded the prime minister’s resignation.

The petition went ahead to ask for the resolution of the Rukurato because its members no longer represented the views of their constituents.

It was signed by Tito B. Buruzaalire (party president), C. K. Nyakoojo (secretary general) and ten other party members.
