President Museveni has met with Chinese ambassador to Uganda, Zhao Yali and discussed bilateral issues

Ugandan President, Yoweri Museveni has met with Chinese ambassador to Uganda, Zhao Yali. The meeting occurred Saturday at Museveni’s country home in Rwakitura, Kiruhura district.
The duo discussed matters of bilateral interest affecting both Uganda and China and cooperation.
The East African country and the Asian giant have shared a bilateral relationship for some years now.
The Chinese government is currently upgrading a 75-km road from Kazo to Kamwenge through M/S China Railway Seventh Group Corporation Ltd of China.
The project includes the construction of four bridges.
China recently delivered road equipment to Uganda as part of a 40-year soft loan to boost the country’s road transport.
