Bidandi Ssali recuperates

FORMER presidential candidate, Jaberi Bidandi Ssali is now in a stable condition.

FORMER presidential candidate, Jaberi Bidandi Ssali is now in a stable condition. Bidandi a veteran politician and a former local government minister was rushed to International Hospital Kampala in a critical condition after a bad fall at his home in Bukoto a Kampala Suburb on Wednesday.

Speaking to New Vision, Bidandi said he was feeling much better and ready to go home. "I just had a little disruption and fell down at my home and they rushed me to hospital where am still receiving treatment.  But I feel better than before," he said.

Bidandi also the founder of opposition People's Progressive Party (PPP) said doctors had carried out all tests and are still monitoring his situation before discharging him.

Several officials including Mike Mukula Soroti Municipality MP and former health state minister, Kintu Musoke, former premier, Kirunda Kiveijinja, former internal affairs minister, Betty Kamya leader of Federal Alliance party and James Mulwana a city businessman among other dignitaries visited him at the hospital on Thursday.
