As the Shell V-Power Pearl of Africa draws closer on August 15-16, drivers have started fine tuning their machines, with the latest being Arthur Blick Jnr, who on Wednesday unveiled a Subaru N10 pro-drive.

The left hand drive car was unveiled at his Speed Way Motorsport Garage on Rubaga road in Kampala.

“It’s a nice car and let the drivers work on their accelerating feet because we are going to give them a run for their money just as we do in Motocross,” an excited Blick, who has been out of rallying since last year, stated.

Blick, driving in the Rwenzori team also summed up the whole story as “ the Hercules is finally home I thank all that have been behind its arrival. I have nothing to say except that it's show time; just wait and see because we are fully ready for attack.”

The Barracuda to wait

Blick had planned to drive his home built Barracuda as a way of keeping close to his fans, but the arrival of the Subaru has changed the whole story as the Barracuda will have to wait for the Enduro races.

The Shell V-Power pearl of Africa Rally is co-sponsored by Silver Springs Hotel, Fire and Safety appliances.
