Woman accused of stealing baby at party

LAST weekend, Rubaga North MP Moses Kasibante organised a victory party for his supporters in Namungoona.

However, as most of such functions are, it did not go without crazy moments.

A lady who had got drunk handed over her baby to a neighbour as she danced. However, after her dance, she went to the MC, wailing that she had lost her baby.

The MC announced the ‘loss’ of the baby and requested the Police to join in the search. Minutes later, the woman with whom the baby had been left brought it to the front.

However, the Police arrested her, accusing her of baby theft. Unfortunately, the woman, too, was drank, so the Police found it hard to be convinced that she had not stolen the baby.
