KICKBOXER Moses Golola is heading for ‘undercover’ training ahead of his WKF super middleweight fight with Hungarian champion Zsamboki Mate at Kyadondo Rugby Grounds on June 29.

In a press conference held yesterday at Kati Kati Lugogo, Golola said that he will literary disappear so that he can concentrate on training in order to defeat his opponent.

“I am not giving chance to controversies this time around as many of my fans were left discontented when I fought with another Hungarian Nagy. I hear it is a 10-round battle but I will kill Zsamboki and break his tongue in the fifth round so as to satisfy my fans and to make my country proud,” said Golola.

To date, many Golola fans are still confused because of the controversy which surrounded his fight especially on who actually won the fight. This time round, the fighter says, he wants to erase all doubts.

The fight sponsors Sema Properties have offered Golola a three-acre piece of land along Gayaza Road and he excitedly displayed the land title to journalists. He vowed not to disappoint his sponsors.

“I am very happy with Sema Properties for supporting me and saving me from renting. I will now fight with focus so that I put up my own house on my land, so let Zsamboki be very careful because not even the sky can limit me now,” added Golola.

The fight has been organised by Balam Baruhagare who promised to do everything in his capacity to make the encounter a memorable one for sports loving Ugandans.

Titus Tugume returns to action

Title contender Malik ‘Hitman’ Kaliisa is ready to take revenge on Titus ‘Hard Rock’ Tugume in the forthcoming national title fight. The fight takes place July 13 at the Lugogo indoor arena.

The two parties clashed last year in October at Kati Kati Restaurant where Tugume battered his opponent. Following the victory he walked away with the belt and a sh10m cash prize.

But this time around Kaliisa looks more prepared then Tugume who had stopped training
