UGANDA Cricket Association (UCA) is set probe why the national team's poor performance at the T20 World Cup qualifying campaign.

Uganda men’s T20 team failed to qualify for the world cup after they finished third last ahead of Denmark and Oman out of 16 teams at the competition in Dubai.

According to a UCA communication on Thursday something was not right because, “it is not the kind of performance the team had expected.”

The Uganda team coached by Martin Suji has since received a lot of criticism in the local press. the team lost seven matches on the trot in the qualifier.

Their performances were further questioned after Namibia they beat to the T20 Africa Division one title here last year finishing third out of 16 teams.

UCA said that their stakeholders will sit on Tuesday and review the team's performance.

Meanwhile, Uganda will host the Rwanda National Men’s Cricket team for three T20 games at Kyambogo and Lugogo Ovals this weekend.

Rwanda wants to gauge their team against Uganda in their preparation for the Africa Division three T20 Tournament in Johannesburg next month.
