REQUEST FOR EXPRESSION OF INTEREST FOR THE PROVISION OFBUILDING CONSULTANCY SERVICES TO WORLD VISION UGANDA

(a) Introduction
World Vision Uganda (WVU) is a Christian child-focused humanitarian, development, relief, and advocacy non-Government organization implementing projects/programs in over 33 districts of Uganda.

World Vision Uganda invites eligible consultancy service firms to submit expression of interest for provision of architectural, electrical, civil engineering and other related design services to aid the process of construction of its office block, warehouse and other facilities.

(i) Evaluation of expression of interest

World Vision Uganda will carry out a detailed evaluation of expression of interest based on responsiveness and submission of the following:

• Memorandum and Articles of Association

• Certificate of Incorporation

• Current Trading License

• Tax Registration Certificate

• Income Tax Clearance Certificate of 2010/2011

• Certificate of Registration (related Association)

• Physical Address

• Financial Position – Presentation of copies of audited reports for the last two years. Specific evaluation and post qualification including site inspection to the premises shall be conducted by WVU evaluation team.

• Profile of the firm which should include relevant CV’s of key personnel and International Exposure/dealings/representations of the firm and proven experience in matters of construction with ability to provide quality services.

• Organizational Structure of the Firm.

• Statement of company policy regarding Children , gender and disabled persons by the firm.

• Police back ground check

NB: Firms should note that WVU reserves the rights to seek independent recommendation from the Uganda Engineers / surveyors association with regard to the professional integrity of the firm
