1. The Uganda National Roads Authority (UNRA) has allocated funds to be used for the acquisition of IT Preventive Maintenance (LOT 1& 2) for UNRA Station Offi ces and Weighbridges and IT Service Desk LOT 3 for UNRA Headquarters.

2. UNRA now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the IT Preventive Maintenance (LOT 1& 2) for UNRA Station offices, Weighbridges and IT Service Desk LOT 3 for Headquarters.

3. Bidding will be conducted in accordance with the open domestic bidding procedures contained in the Government of Uganda’s Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Assets Act, 2003, and is open to all bidders from eligible source countries.

4. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from Uganda National Roads Authority Headquarters and inspect the bidding documents at the address given below at 7 (a) from 8.00 am to 4.00 pm (local time) on working days from Mondays to Fridays.

5. The Bidding Documents in English may be purchased by interested bidders on the submission of a written application to the address below at 7(b). A bidder may bid for all the three lots.
However, in the event that a bidder is best evaluated for more than one lot, he/she can only be awarded one lot based on the best economic advantage to UNRA. Documents are purchased upon payment of a non-refundable fee of UG Shs. 50,000 (Fifty thousand shillings only) cash for each lot to UNRA Cashier on 4th Floor Room 4B1 who will then issue the bidder with a receipt. It is upon presentation of this original receipt that the bidders will be issued the bidding documents.

6. Bids must be delivered to the address below at 7(c) at or before 11:00am by 17th February 2012. All bids must be accompanied by a bid security of Uganda Shillings Seven Hundred Thousand (UGX 700,000) for Lot 1, Uganda Shillings Seven Hundred Thousand (UGX 700,000) for Lot 2 and Uganda Shillings Nine Hundred Thousand (UGX 900,000) for Lot 3 or an equivalent amount in a freely convertible currency) for any lot. Late bids shall be rejected. Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders’ representatives who choose to attend at the address below at 7(d) at 11:30am on 17 February 2012.
