FUFA and the Corporate League have agreed on a two-year plan to woo fans back to the stadiums as the national soccer team launch their 2012 Africa Nations Cup campaign later in September.

The Corporate League that organises various sports competitions for corporate staff also plans to carryout environmental awareness campaigns during the period as part of social responsibility.

While launching the plan at Hotel Africana last week, the Corporate League (CL) executive led by Sams Tumuhimbise said that their main target is to help FUFA get corporate staff back to watch local football.

FUFA official Haruna Kebba, who represented the federation at the press conference applauded the idea.

But he urged the body to work hand in hand with FUFA and include beach soccer (FUTSO) within their monthly events in a bid to popularise it.

FUFA officially launched beach soccer with demonstration matches at Lido Beach on Saturday.

The 2010 Corporate League calendar rolls off on March 28 with matches at Namboole and Lugogo.
