Will Ssekikubo give up his plans?
MP Theodore Ssekikubo, you recently declared your intentions to stand for the post of secretary-general in the NRM party. How sure are we that you will not give up?
- Moses,
Kampala
ANSWER: Why should someone think that I will give up? I am an elected MP. I decided to stand because of the weaknesses I noticed in the party. Some of the party leaders are no longer in touch with the people. Secondly, the youth are being neglected. I want to bring these people back and improve the party’s image.

Who took over Nakasero Market?
MP Erias Lukwago, the storm over Nakasero Market seems to have subsided. Who took up the ownership of the market?
Ssembatya, Nakasero Market
ANSWER: The decision to grant the vendors the market lease is irreversible. The Government is assessing how much compensation to give Hassan Basajjabalaba, but I am opposed to it because the deal was fraudulent. We are pushing the minister and Kampala City Council to process the title for the vendors.
