THE Police in Luweero have arrested two security guards, following a Monday incident in which a gang of thugs broke into Equity Bank and stole a computer and sh106,000.
THE Police in Luweero have arrested two security guards, following a Monday incident in which a gang of thugs broke into Equity Bank and stole a computer and sh106,000.
The thugs are said to have entered the bank through the roof after disarming and tying up the bank’s security guards.
The area Police commander, Patrick Kyaligonza, said the guards are suspected to have connived with the thugs to carry out the robbery.
