JUST how far can you go to love someone? Would you, for instance, go to a witch in order to win back your lover’s heart? Does witchcraft work anyway? And what if your lover left you for your best friend?

These are some of the many controversial scenarios the Ebonies portray in their new production: Love, Lust, Lies and Revenge.

Premiering in red-carpet setting tomorrow, the play, which is spiced with music and hilarious brain-teasing themes, will also deck the halls on Sunday and throughout the Easter weekend.

Like its title suggests, the play takes you into the thick of love, lust, lies and revenge; portrayed by different couples, each with its own issues to sort out.

In one interesting scenario, director Ssembajjwe somewhat screams at you: “You are in trouble if a celebrity likes your woman.”

But some people just won’t sit back and let her go, and that is where revenge comes into play. In a similar scenario, one woman will have to risk all to go all the way to the US, just to exact her revenge.

Capturing other themes like suicide and cross-generational love affairs, the play also features acclaimed dancer Michael Kasaija in a special dance-drama routine.

Look out for special screen appearances by Jose Chameleone, Bobi Wine, Raga Dee, Juliana Kanyomozi, Cindy and Silver Kyagulanyi.

And be sure to keep your ticket stub for a draw in which two lucky couples will win a lavish dinner at the theatre’s five star restaurant, Spectrum @ La Bonita.
