Maroons, who have won all their four games, pipped Masaka Municipal Council 1-0 on Sunday to stay top of the Rwenzori Group with the maximum 12 points.

The Prisons team had earlier on beaten Jinja Arsenal, Fort Hills and Misindye in a battle for the three slots in the 2010/2011 top flight season.

Maroons returned to the Uganda Super League for the first time in 30 years in 2007 but was relegated just after a season. They missed a return last year, losing to Fire Masters FC in the Kampala region mini league final.

In the Elgon Group, leaders Bishop Nankyama suffered a set back with 2-2 draw against Utoda Kampala on Sunday.

The draw puts them at 10 points, just three points ahead of Gulu United and Mbale Heroes.
