URA FC acting coach Alex Isabirye is looking at win¬ning a double at the end of the 2009/2010 season. The taxmen’s team is away to Arua Central in West Nile today as the Uganda Super League resumes after a two-month break due to the national team engagements.

URA hopes to build on their Kakungulu Cup victo¬ry over Entebbe Young last week to hand Isabirye his first league win since tak¬ing over the coaching duties from Moses Basena who was sent on forced leave.

Isabirye will be without first choice goalkeeper Mulindwa Muwonge, who is on a FUFA suspension following a fracas with Express striker Badru Kiyegga during their first round encounter at Namboole.

Derrick Walulya, Sam Sennoga, Jimmy Kidega and Eric Obua are also out injured while David Kyobe has decided to skip the trip.

“I’m a winner and I want to retain the trophy. I’m sure my boys want to do the same,” Isabirye, who has had to tightly guard his players for the long trip to Arua during the festive sea¬son, said yesterday.

“My job at URA is to win matches and win the tro¬phies. As a catholic, I say it with conviction during this time (Easter period) that I will win the league,” Isabirye, who joined URA as a player, vowed.

URA (37 points) have only won 10 of their 20 league matches this season and are lying fifth. A win in Arua will see them narrow the gap with table leaders Express FC to two points.

Arua has not won a league match since the start of the second round and they will do anything at Arua Hill stadium to achieve a result. URA won the first round encounter 3-0 and Isabirye said that today’s outcome will not be any different.

Nalubaale and Police, who are both beaming with Kakungulu Cup victories meet at Nakivubo on Wednesday, while Express travel to Masindi for a date against Kinyara on Thursday.
