Locals demand better services
GULU - Residents of Paicho subcounty have appealed to the district authorities to improve social services in the return villages. Meeting the woman LC5 councillor, Betty Atim, on Saturday, the locals said they lack safe drinking water because most of the boreholes are in the former displaced persons camps, which were far from the villages. They also requested for the recruitment of more teachers, construction of classrooms, access to better roads and drugs at health centres.
