GULU - Lt. P.K. Ebong, who has been the sector intelligence officer for Lango sub-region, has been arrested on allegations that he stole a saloon car. The car was reportedly in transit from Malaba-Kenya to the DR Congo. The UPDF division spokesman, Capt. Deo Akiiki, recently said it was also alleged that Ebong is not the suspect’s real name. it belongs to someone whose academic papers the officer used to join the army.

Norway to help disabled children

LIRA - The Haukeland University Hospital in Norway is to partner with Adina Foundation of Uganda to implement a disabled children’s project in the district. The move was announced by a Haukeland official, Hilde Sandnes, at Adina Foundation offices on Saturday. The foundation was established to provide physical rehabilitation and offer psycho-social support to children with disabilities in the sub-region.
