Viva Stars lead tree planting campaign

All-girl singing group Viva Stars have shown their love for the environment. The girls have entered an agreement with the Chimpanzee Sanctuary and Wildlife Conservation Trust to spearhead a one-year tree planting campaign.

The group will record songs about conservation, sensitise communities and spearhead tree-planting campaigns. They have already launched a tree planting club aimed at having every Ugandan plant a tree.

They recently performed at a concert in Hoima to mark the end of a one-week conservation festival. Viva la Viva!
